To clear up some confusion, trees based on information from the alpha are not allowed. Trees based on information from the WWI are allowed. If you just wish to see these trees however, we recommended Wowhead: http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent.
Today we recieved a request from Blizzard to remove all trees that have been based on information from the Alpha. We also want to request everyone not to create any additional trees based on Alpha information. Doing so will put you Unleashed Gaming account at risk. The tree will of course be removed as soon as we see it.
As most, if not all, of you have noticed the war-tools site is running slower then normal. This is mostly because of an exceptional number of visitors. For now we apologize for any inconvenience this may be for you. We assure you we are working to resolve the problem.
We also wish to inform you of the following: We will keep all the "leaked" trees on-line as long as it is doable for us. However, should Blizzard request us to remove them, we will do so. For now however, no such request has been made, and as such they will remain on-line.
We would like to request thought that you simply use the Browse feature to look up existing trees of the leaks. Do not add your own version unless you actually add information that is not in the original leak. Having multiple copies of the same tree only adds to the confusion. Rating good or bad trees clear up a lot of that confusion though.
Without doubt most of you found the lay-out of the site to be different from what you are used to. While this design was not meant to be launched so soon, entering a command into the wrong window made it happen a bit sooner then we had hoped. Some of you might even have seen an old beta of the create your own class. We did remove that one for now, as its not done yet (sorry!)
If you hate the new lay-out, feel free to contact us about it. If you like it, we definitely don't mind if you drop a note about that either.
If you are wondering about the fact that the upper right looks a lot like an avatar box, you are right. We are going to allow all users to select an avatar to be seen near there comments. Don't ask us when we upload that feature, but don't worry, seems we sometimes accidentally release stuff already!?
The site now has its very own domain. You can now also find us at http://www.war-tools.com/. All old address will continue to fully function (or redirect to one that does).
Also, after adding user registration the much requested feature to get the ability to edit and/or delete your own items has been added. To use it, simply navigate to your own talent page (after logging in), and press the edit or delete button.
Unleashed Gaming now requires users to have there own account to rate and post Talent Trees. This decision was made to reduce the number of "Lost trees". In the future we plan to add an Edit function to the editor as well. Old trees will not be added to your current account.
After evaluating demand of the users, we decided to add user rating and titles to trees. They can be used when posting a new tree from now on. We plan on adding comments later on.
And yes, we are still working on "create your own class".
As most of our visitors have noticed there has been some (ok a lot) of downtime of the site lately. This has lead to the relocation of the site to a new host. In the upcoming days we will be migrating over the database. Done!
In addition to this change, we updated the talent creator to allow for level 80 trees and we are adding the Death Knight class as an option. In addition we have made the "Create your own class" our top priority..
A long overdue feature has been added today. It is now possible to browse user made trees. Over time we plan on making this tool more and more powerful, but we decided even this relatively simple version will be of high value to those that just like to look at other trees for some inspiration on how to continue there own. Go try it now
After the huge success of the Talent-Tree Creator, we decided to make it a bit more powerful, we added the often requested "move" feature. In addition the amount of view of each tree's will be counted from now on. We will add a browse page soon, which allows you to browse to other users trees.
After a long time of development we are proud to launch a new tool for the WoW community to assist Blizzard in making there World of Warcraft world a better place for the players. Use this Talent-tree Creator to provide blizzard with your version of how the Talent-Trees of the class of choose should look.
