Class: Rogue (WotLK) Author:
wylt (View all Talent Tree's from this user) Title: Wylt's Rogue Author's comment (hide): Assassination: * [ALTERED] Deadened Nerves - Added slight increase to fear resistance to make the talent more desirable, and to assist in kiting issues. * [ALTERED] Find Weakness - Buffed to 3/6/9%, in accordance to HfB changes. * [ALTERED] Hunger for Blood - It is now a modified Shadowstep versus bleed-affected targets and also imparts a bleed on any subsequent attack. Is under the same restrictions as Shadowstep in regards to movement imparing effects.
Combat: * [ADDED] Decisive Strikes at Tier 3 - Gain of 1 Hit Rating for every 24/12/6 Agility. Gain equates to 100 Hit Rating at 600 Agility. Not game shattering, but closes the gap. * [REMOVED] Lightening Reflexes - This has been replaced with Alacrity & Decisive Strikes * [ADDED] Alacrity at Tier 4 - Increases your Dodge, Parry and Attack Power gains from Agility by 2/5/10%. * [ALTERED] Aggression - Moved to Tier 5. Reverted to 3 points. * [MOVED] Mace Specialization - Moved to Tier 6 * [REMOVED] Throwing Specialization - This has been moved to Subtlety Tier 3. * [ALTERED] Unfair Advantage - The effect now also triggers when the beneficiary of your Tricks of the Trade dodges or parries an attack from your target. * [REMOVED] Killing Spree - This ability has been replaced with Murderous Intent * [ADDED] Murderous Intent - This ability is a modified Shadowstep, moving the rogue through the shadows towards their target. It does not attempt to place the rogue behind their target. It can also be used on friendly targets. It does not grant any increase to attacks whatsoever. It is under the same movement imparing effect limitations as Shadowstep.
Subtlety: * [ALTERED] Relentless Strikes - Finishers now have 20% chance to grant 5/10/15/20/25 energy per combo point. * [ADDED] Throwing Specialization - Moved from the Combat tree * [REMOVED] Ghostly Strike - This ability was replaced with Vital Strike * [ADDED] Vital Strike - This finisher applies a debuff to the target. The debuff has a 3% chance per combo point to apply a bleed to the target upon any melee or ranged attack (non-spell). The bleed would do 100% of the generating attack's damage over 10 seconds and can stack up to twice. The debuff remains for up to 30 seconds. Bleed effects may be overwritten by more powerful applications (from stronger triggering attacks). This debuff may only be on a target one at a time. * [ALTERED] Cheat Death - Now also increases Stamina by 2/3/4%. * [ALTERED] Filthy Tricks - This ability now enhances Pick Pocket as well. Instead of picking their actual pockets, it allows you to place a poison on an enemy player with decreases their attack speed by 5%/10% for 15 seconds, if not resisted. * [ALTERED] Shadow Dance - This skill has been entirely repurposed. It now instantly puts you into stealth, yet does not remove you from combat. You cannot autoattack while in Shadow Dance and cannot be pulled out of stealth by taking damage, though you do still take the damage. Any combo point attack (such as Hemorrhage or Backstab) or opener that you perform reveals you and then instantly returns you to stealth, up to three times. Upon the 4th such reveal, or the expiration of Shadow Dance (30 seconds), you are removed from stealth and resume combat as normal. Actions that would not normally remove you from stealth do not remove you from Shadow Dance.
